Package Boiler

MINISTER STEAM BOILER

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
The "Minister" boiler is an all welded horizontal true three pass, wet back firetube design, to the requirements of B.S.2790, 1989, supplied as a packaged and supplied as a packaged and supplied as a package unit with burner and ancillary equipment fitted before despatch.

APPROVAL
Design of the boiler and construction drawings are checked and approved by the Factory & Machinery Department, Ministry of Human Resources. The survey during the construction of the boiler shall be carried out by an approved Theird Party Inspector.

SHELL
The boiler shell is cylindrical and will comprise of a single or double strake with welded seams. The two tubeplate are inset and welded to the boiler shell. Stay bars and washers are fitted between and welded to the tubeplates are required.

FURNACE
The boiler is fitted with a single furnace tube attacked to the front tubeplate and the combustion chamber tubeplate by welding.

TUBES
Tubes are seamless hot rolled or electric resistance welded carbon steel to BS 3059 Part 1 Grade 320. Second pass tubes are fitted between the front tubeplate and the combustion chamber tubeplate and third pass between the front and rear tubeplates of the boiler shell.Plain tubes are expanded and the stay tubes expanded and welded into the tubeplates. All second pass tube ends in the combustion chamber are finished flush to the plate and welded in with a 'J' prep weld.

HEAT TREATMENT
On completion of welding the boiler shell is stress relieved if required by B.S.

HYDRAULIC TEST
On completion of tubing the boiler is submitted to a full hydraulic test in the presence of the Third Party Inspector.

 

BEEVOR STEAM BOILER

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
The "Beevor" is a three pass, wet back flame reversal firetube boiler, designed and constructed to B.S. 2790, 1989 and supplied as a package unit.

APPROVAL
Design of the boiler and construction drawings are checked and approved by the Factory & Machinery Department. Ministry of Human Resources. The survey during the construction of the boiler shall be carried out by an approved Third Party Inspector.

The boiler shell is cylindrical and will comprise of a single or double strake with welded seams. The two tubeplate and fitted to raer tubeplates by water space stays.
